This is a design (my first, so be kind please) of an elephant throw in overlay mosaic. My daughter didn’t like any of the elephant designs that I could find so I designed my own. I did the method of adding a chain at the beginning (SC then chain then pattern) and end (end of pattern, chain, SC) of each row. It made the chain stitch around the entire throw easier at the end prior to starting the envelope border. I used about a skein of each color.
