Geraldine Tank Top
This is a made-to-measure pattern. It has no specific yarn, hook, stitch count, or gauge. However, a small (smaller than your average) swatch is required to find your particular measurements.
The Geraldine Tank Top is a summer tank top featuring mesh detailing, a faux-knit style of crochet, and a lace-up front. Its detailing is delicate when worked with finer yarn but can be made with any size of yarn. Straps can be made as thick or thin as you like and the length of the top can be as short or long as desired. Once you get the hang of the pattern repeats this top is a great mindless project.
Pattern features a stitch dictionary, charts, and step-by-step instructions with pictures for most steps. There is also a small tester gallery at the end of the pattern to help you estimate the amount of yarn you will need. The top is worked in 2 separate panels, before stitching together and working the straps. There is no shaping/increasing/decreasing and would make a good starter top if you are new to crocheting your own clothes.
Stitches to know before starting:
Chain, Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Double Crochet, Slip Stitch, Back Loop Only Slip Stitch.
