‘Gerda’ is a simple garter stitch scarf with a zigzag edge knitted in a boomerang shape. It is very easy to knit (and wear) with the edging and eyelet sections giving interest to the knitting.

All RS body rows contain an increase and decrease and all WS body rows end with an increase; this creates the fun boomerang shape.

Yarn: 1 skein of 4 ply (425m); my example was knitted in the Fandoms colour way, ‘BJR’ merino by Sable Yarns; Needles: 4.5 mm; Accessories required: 1 x Stitchmarker

Basic Stitches used:
Knit, Yarn Overs, Knit front and back and K2tog.
