Gerri is an adventurous Ginger Cat, and is ready to explore the world on their backpack journey. The pinafore dress and backpack are removable for dress-up play, and the backpack is functional so you can fill it with the cat’s travel goodies.

This knitting pattern uses acrylic DK yarns and single pointed needles (work flat, not in the round). Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz

NEEDLES:
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
King Cole Dollymix DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; One 25g/73m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, toy safety eyes, and a stitch holder.

SIZES:
One size only - The cat stands at 22cm tall.

TECHNIQUES:
The cat’s head uses intarsia knitting for the colour-work. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
