Construction Notes
This sock starts with a ribbing pattern for the cuff, followed by a colorwork section
for the leg. The eyes and beaks can be added using duplicate stitch after knitting. If you are comfortable working with multiple strands, you may instead hold all three or four yarns together and incorporate these details directly into the colorwork to
avoid duplicate stitching. The heel flap is worked in alternating colors for a decorative effect, and the sock features a heel turn and gusset construction.
