Join the Get Set and Go Knitalong this Summer! Post a picture of your finished shawl in any one (or more) ways!

The KAL is running until 31st August 2024 and there are prizes to be won! Visit for full details!

’Choose Your Yarn’ Kits are also available from Under the Olive Tree knits.

Get Set and Go combines simple ‘yo, k2tog’ lace stitches with sections of smooth stockinette to really show off the colours in a pretty skein of yarn.
This one-skein asymmetric shawl starts with a small arrow of the lace stitches and these arrows gradually get bigger as you knit the shawl, creating a striking path of chevrons pointing their way to the finish line!

If you are new to knitting lace, this shawl would be the perfect opportunity to give it a try. Using just yarnover and k2tog stitches to create the lace, each section is worked between markers so you can easily keep track of your stitches. A video tutorial on how to work the ‘yo, k2tog’ stitch combination can be found here

This pattern is free for the Summer of 2024, and there is a Knitalong happening with prizes too!
