Delicate, lacy fingerless gloves in light fingering or heavy laceweight yarn, using a simple faggoting stitch and picot edges. I first designed them as a gift for my goddaughter, Ghislaine, a gifted ‘cellist. I particularly wanted the slender lace section to run up the side of the thumb.

The pattern is written in two sizes but is easily adaptable to suit a variety of hand sizes or yarns. They use less than 200 yards and would look lovely in a fluffy cashmere or any alpaca, silk and cashmere mix.

I frequently adapt or improvise patterns but this is the first that I have written up so if you notice any glaring errors, or anything that could be clearer, please do let me know. I am often on Ravlery and very happy to answer any queries. I hope that you enjoy it!
