This women’s vest is worked from the bottom hem up. It features a colorwork/stranded knitting band of geometric motifs at the waist and is finished with a shallow V-neck front neckband with a diamond colorwork band. All facings are worked in a multicolored stripe pattern.

Yarn requirements:
Main Color: 984 (1148, 1148, 1312, 1312, 1476) yards
Contrast Color 1 (Light blue): 164 ( 328, 328, 492, 492, 492) yards.
Contrast Colors 2, 3, and 4: 164 (164, 328, 328, 492, 492) yards.

Note that this yarn base is discontinued. When choosing a substitute yarn, select a sportweight yarn with a firm twist to help show off the colorwork patterns.

This vest was inspired by the home of the artist Georgia O’Keeffe whose Ghost Ranch in the mountains of northern New Mexico is nestled against redrock cliff walls overlooking the Chama River as it flows southward.

This pattern is available as part of a print book or as a digital edition - the price is reflective of the entire 20-pattern book collection. It is not available at this time as an individual download.
