2.9.10 ERRATA: I have fixed some of the explanations of the pattern and corrected row numbers. This has been corrected in the pattern. Please feel free to email me with questions! Dearyg@gmail.com

Design is my own. I am unable to accurately give the number of skeins used in this pattern. I bought Sugar & Cream cones in Ecru as I worked. My estimate is that I used about 11-12 1 lb. cones. Feel free to ask any questions!

This is the very first crochet project I have ever completed. I began it in memory of my late great-grandmother who taught me how to crochet. My intention was for it to fit a king sized bed. All of the solid squares and the border at the top and bottoms of the piece are sc and the open squares are ch3 sk1. each solid check is 8 sc by 8 rows and each open check is 4 open squares by 8 rows. This can easily be adapted to any size blanket.
