Make the fluffiest giant panda around with simple techniques
and heavenly alpaca yarn. This adorable panda is the perfect
size for cuddling and is sure to become a family favorite!

The Giant Panda is a doll worked in the amigurumi style,
using continuous rounds. The dress is made using a simple
color change and back loop only technique, so that the entire
body is made in one piece. All the separate components are
sewed together at the end for a super cute effect.

Worked in spiral rounds without joining.

Use a stitch marker at the end of each round to keep track of
the rounds.

Pull apart fiberfill before stuffing each part to ensure even
density.

Stuff the head and the body firmly at the openings so that the
neck is stable upon completion.

To avoid large holes in the crochet fabric, increase tension
until the holes cannot be seen or choose a crochet hook a
size smaller.

Use sewing pins to secure limbs of the amigurumi before you
sew them.
