Just in time for Hanukkah! Crochet a giant soft dreidel! Crocheted in colorful worsted weight yarn and stuffed with fiber-fill, this plush stuffed dreidel measures about 12” tall (not including the handle which is about 3” tall), 8” wide, and 28” in diameter (at fullest part). Measurements will vary with your gauge and stuffing. Blue, with Gold, Green and Red accents, and a small amount of Ivory for the lettering. Great fun decoration for your home or to give as a gift!

Materials:

Red Heart Super Saver Yarn, 1 skein each of: Light Periwinkle (Blue) about 150 yds used; Gold 50 yds; Tea Leaf (Green) 30 yds; Cherry Red (Red) 20 yds; Aran (Ivory) 5 yds.

Skill Level – Intermediate. Shaping and joining experience helpful.

Gauge - not important for this project. After R2 of the side/top square, my work measured 2” across. For the base triangles, I had about 7 stitches and a little less than 7 rows to 2”. Red Heart Super Saver is a little heavier than most worsted yarns, so if you use a different yarn it may come out a little smaller.
