Made with Baby Bee, Super bulky, Adore-A-Ball yarns and an N Hook (10 mm) with the Curly Q’s it took 9 skeins of yarn and I used 3 colors.

This Jellyfish is Giant. No, really. It’s bell is very nearly a foot tall and the Curly Q’s make it nearly a full 3 feet in height! In circumference it’s roughly 47 inches! That’s a whole lot of squooshy, soft, snuggly goodness!

If you want smaller/larger sizes I just recommend using different sized hooks or yarn. Simple as that. I’ve done this in miniature sized with thread and a B Hook (2.25 mm) and given them away for people to hang in their car. You might need to downgrade the curly q sts. Meaning if you have a TR st, make it a DC. DC to HDC. HDC to SC and SC to Sl St.

I don’t have a great deal of experience with pattern making, especially on this scale of an item so feel free to message me if there are issues.

As with all of my Patterns, you may absolutely sell items you have made!! (I always find it silly when people tell you not to sell something you’ve made with your hands. If I sell cookies I don’t expect Toll House will sue me for using their chocolate chips and not heeding some unwritten warning.) The pattern, however, is mine and you can not share or sell that. I do ask that you consider sharing a link back to my shop/blog. Creating this pattern took time and patience (sometimes also a lack of). I only make money from patterns and items I sell, not blog ads, etc, so I appreciate the word spreading of this pattern.

I did do this pattern (though a much more loose leaf paper kind of version) using Bernat Blanket yarn. It was absolutely smaller but do-able. I may work up another pattern using different Bulky and not Super Bulky yarns later as there are far more color choices for those than Baby Bee/Hobby Lobby brand which only has 5 solids in SBulky(6).
