Gift knitting is one of the main reasons I learned to knit. But, I will admit that I am forever putting off gift knitting until the last minute. Not anymore! I designed this pattern as a staple gift knit, so that I can keep my gift knitting going all year round.

The garter rib in this pattern makes these mittens easy to fit and easy to knit. Sized for child-adult large, this pattern is unisex and quick. This pattern includes instructions for a full mitten, fingerless mitt, AND convertible flip-top mitten, so you can keep everyone on your gift-knitting list happy.

Gift knitting tip: If you suffer from second mitten syndrome, use a completely different color for the second mitten. You can mix and match your mitts, keep your needles happy, and bust through your leftover stash yarn.
