This easy crochet triangle shawl works from side to side, increasing to the midpoint and then decreasing to the end. The textured stitch combination is reversible so you’ll get two different looks from the same shawl. This is the first pattern in the third annual Gift to Myself Crochet Along with 21 free patterns for you!

Teen/Adult: 60.5” (153.5 cm) wingspan x 26.25” (66.5 cm) spine.

Materials
Lion Brand Mandala Bonus Bundle yarn (100% acrylic, 10.5 oz/300 g/1181 yd/1080 m) – 1 skein in 212S Spirit, or approximately 1181 yd (1080 m) in a light weight, self-striping yarn. Alternatively, you can use 2 standard size skeins of Mandala.

US Size I-9/5.5 mm crochet hook, or any size needed to obtain correct gauge.

Stitch marker or scrap yarn.

Yarn needle.

Gauge
Exact gauge is not critical for this pattern. Choose a hook 1-3 sizes larger than you would typically use for a light weight yarn to get relaxed drape.
