This shawl was created to teach newer knitters some creative stitches. The half pi shape was chosen as it means that within each section you don’t have to worry about increasing your stitch count as the increase rows are made separately between the sections. I used a colour scheme to suggest clouds, the sky and water, and sand at a beach, but you can play with colour as much as you want and use your stash to change up each section.
The finished size is approximately 24 inches deep and 50 inches wide but this can vary with yarn choice and blocking techniques.
