This is a twisted rib hab with a cabled band. The name Ginger Nut comes from the lovely ginger colour of the yarn, a pun on the word head and a famous British biscuit.

The hat comes in two sizes but is very stretchy due to the ribbing and designed to be worn with 4-5” negative ease. There is also an option for a less pointy crown if you would prefer.

It features written and charted instructions and a video tutorial for the twisted central double decreases that are used on the crown is included. The digital version also contains bookmarks at strategic points to help you navigate the pattern.
