All the charm of a fresh gingham print in a snuggly warm hat. This bonnet can be made with any easy knit lace trim, or without for either gender!. Instructions are included for knitting this in either fingering, or DK weight for a quicker knit.

While the stranded pattern is easy enough for beginner knitters to tackle, the bonnet looks equally great just knit in plain stockinette. Use it as a show off some really great hand painted yarn. The pattern will leave you plenty of leftovers for matching booties out of 50 grams, and the lace trim requires less then 20 meters.

Fingering weight version is knit on 2.75mm and 2.25mm needles.
DK version can be knit in two strands of fingering, or DK weight yarn. It is worked on 4mm and 3.5mm needles
