This is a free pattern that I designed for a gingham style crochet dishcloth. This is such an easy pattern to make and I have included a chart for easy reading on https://lmcdesignscrochet.blogspot.com/

This pattern is made using a single crochet stitch but can be used with other stitches if desired.

The technique used for this dishcloth pattern can be found on yarnspirations. com by it’s member daisy farm crafts. This is the same technique used to created this charted crochet pattern using the single crochet stitch instead of the stitch that is used in making the blanket.

I love the all the gingham style baby blankets being made with this technique and I wanted to design this style of cloth for a country kitchen dishcloth.

What is simply lovely about this style and technique is that you can really mix and intermingle your dishcloths colors to obtain a gingham look. I also make a checker style dishcloth to compliment my kitchen.
