Giraffes are one of my favorite animals!

You can attach this applique to a card or use it as a gift topper.
I think It would look particularly cute as an embellishment on a plain cup cozy. You could always make a few of these appliques and string them together to make a cute bunting for a baby shower.

Pattern notes:

• I switch up the pattern so that the overall shape is more circular than hexagonal
• Join each round with a slip stitch at the end, begin each round with a chain one.

These are the items I used to make this project:

• 3.25 mm crochet hook 6 mm safety eyes
• light yellow dk weight yarn
• white dk weight yarn
• brown worsted weight yarn scraps
