I wanted to knit woolen socks that could be described as girl’s every day essentials. The kind of easy going, kind of minimalistic socks that fit in your winter boots but still look chic if you need to take your shoes off inside. A mixture of traditional ribbed socks with stripes of girly lace that is easy enough for the beginners. The lace pattern continues all the way down the heels and toes giving the socks a modern twist. These are the kind of socks that work for every occasion from snowy walks to sofa hangs at cozy coffee shops, from the first cold days of early fall all the way through to spring.

The socks are knitted top down from cuff to toes. The lace pattern continues all the way down the heel flap and on the instep down to the tip of the toes. The socks have short row heels.
