This item was designed for use with the free yarn enclosed with Knit Today Magazine, No. 58, April 2011. However it could be made with DK yarn from stash.

A little keyring tag in the shape of a handbag or purse, just under 2 inches square, excluding handle. It is knitted as a rectangle to fold into bag-shape, with a triangle at the end of the rectangle to make the purse flap. The front of the bag is in moss stitch, the back in stockinet and the flap in garter stitch.

The construction of the bag handle is personal choice. The button closes the bag permanently.

There is no stitch diagram or chart.

Note from a Raveller: It would be possible to construct the bag with a button loop so that it could be opened and closed.
