2 Balls of 50 gr / 1.75 oz should be enough to make a small hat, 3 for larger. Depends on how many frills you decide to make. Largest size of hat is Ladies Large 23 - 24 inches / 58.5 - 61 cm. There are 3 flower options, the classic Rose, a 5 Petal flower and a matching frilly Carnation.

Medium Worsted Weight yarn - Aran Weight for Britain, 10 Ply for Australia and a 4 mm Crochet Hook - USA G/6 - Britain an 8. The hat is worked in SC and HDC or DC for the frills. Easy to make and looks great!
