CONSTRUCTION: This classic slipover is designed to be knitted from the top down, with no seaming required. The construction starts with short rows shaping the back to define the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up along the back shoulder edges and shaped toward the neckline. The front shoulders are joined seamlessly at the neckline and worked down to the underarm, where the front and back are joined to continue in the round to the hem. Finally, the neckband and the armholes are worked in ribbing and folded for a polished finish.
