A quick and easy knit using stockinette stitch throughout creates an elegant piece to accent a plain top or dress. The 100% silk ribbon yarn by Schulana feels divinely soft and has beautiful drape. Using large #10 (6mm) needles, it works up quickly and the dropped stitches at the end create interest without the challenge of lace knitting.

This is a great beginner project with an intro to the drop stitch pattern and how to easily bind it off with a “bridge” over the dropped stitch. Metric measurements are included along with a schematic for finishing. There is very little sewing to make it up. This pattern has complete and simple directions for the beginner knitter - a fast and easy project for the experienced knitter.
