Additional Yarn Information This pattern was designed with tweed or ragg yarn in mind. Recommended yarns are Socka or Lang Jawoll. You need 100 grams.

Additional Gauge Information The US 2 (2.75 mm) needles are used on the leg, with a gauge of 8 stitches per inch. The US 1.5 (2.5 mm) needles are used with the heel and foot, and the gauge is 8.5 stitches per inch.

Optional Bead Information The designer used 8/0 Miyuki glass in gold. Per sock you will need: 252 (192, 222, 288), and a bead-threader (or floss-threader).

Additional Size Information The pattern is written for Size L (Woman’s shoe size 8 with 9.25 inches in foot length) with additional sizes given in parentheses.

Chart Included The original iteration of this pattern included a chart of the leg pattern. The published version provides English row-by-row instructions, but includes a Chart with a German translation symbol key.

Notes This was originally offered as the February-March 2006 pattern exclusive for the Six Sox Knitalong group. Since then, the designer has published the pattern and it is no longer available through the group.
