A lovely vintage looking Pillbox Hat that makes an excellent beginner project that can be done in a single sitting! The crisp edge gives a really charming addition to an outfit, and the pattern moves from single crochet stitches to double stitches in increments that make for good practice.

I created this pattern using Plymouth Yarn’s Gallaway Roving, but that yarn has sadly been discontinued. One ounce of roving was enough to make a hat with exactly one skein, and matching the gauge in the pattern should provide a similar result (~54 yards of yarn).
