The glorious Glasgow skyline on a yoke. What’s not to love?
Worked top-down and fully charted for each size so you don’t have half a building.
You’ve got the Titan crane, the Armadillo, the Clyde Arc (the ‘squinty bridge’), the City Chambers in George Square, the Science Centre tower, the University Tower, and of course the Duke of Wellington statue with obligatory cone hat. This is all bordered by a Charles Rennie Mackintosh rose and lattice motif.

The sample is shown worn with 2” positive ease, the instructions for sizes are written to size. If you prefer a looser fit then knit a size larger than normal. Body length and sleeve length are fully adjustable. There are instructions included at the end if you prefer a higher neckline. The sleeves are shown here half-length but can be knit full length if you prefer. You will need more yarn if you extend the length

YARN
Kinross 4ply 3 (4, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7, 8, 9) x 50g/205m main colour (sample shown in Elderberry), plus 2 x 50g contrast colour (sample shown in Inveraray). Sizes 52”, 56” and 60” will require 3x50g of contrast colour.

TENSION
28 sts and 37 rows per 4”/10cm on middle-sized needles (3.25mm or size required) over stocking stitch after blocking.

NEEDLES
3mm for ribs, 3.25mm for plain sections, 3.5mm for stranded section. Tension stated is for the stocking stitch (knit every round) section on the middle-sized needles, if you need a different size for this stated tension then use a size down for the rib and a size up for the stranded section.
The jumper is worked in the round, a 3mm 40cm circular is recommended for the neck, going up to a 80cm or 100cm 3.5mm for the yoke and 3.25mm for the body. The sleeves are done on the 3.25mm but can be done on a longer circular for magic loop or a 25cm/30cm sock circular or DPNs depending on preference.
1 Stitch marker
Darning needle for weaving in ends.
Tiny scrap of orange and white (less than 1 yard) for traffic cone (optional)
