<< This is a very simple and easy baby blanket worked on the bias so you work it from corner to corner instead of lengthwise end to end. It’s an incredibly easy and simple recipe of a pattern, there is not need to match gauge. You simple find the yarn you want and the size needles that give you the fabric density you want for your blanket and get going. You work the blanket increasing on each side for half the project, and then switch to decreasing for the other half so you end up with a square baby blanket.

<< It’s worked with meditative sections of garter and twisted rib, you can decide how long you want each section to be. If you’re not big into twisted rib, then you could decide to make those sections really short and the garter sections longer. Totally up to your preference.

MATERIALS
Yarn: Any you want! This is a gauge-less pattern, you decide the fabric you like and go with that. The yardage depends on your gauge and how big you make the blanket, so I suggest you start decreasing on the blanket when you use up a little less than half of your total yardage.

Needles: Any that go well with the yarn you have, that give you the fabric density you want for your finished baby blanket. I suggest a cord length of at least 24” (60 cm) though.

Other Materials: Yarn needle, Removable stitch markers

Gauge: None, this is a recipe so you can make it with whatever gauge you like.

I hope you enjoy this sweet and simple pattern. I wanted a simple and easy to knit blanket to gift to a friend of mine and this is what came out of that. I just wrote up this little recipe for you to enjoy. It wasn’t tech edited or test knit since it’s such a simple recipe (and free), so if you find an error feel free to email me. ALSO, you’ll find a little coupon code at the end of the pattern ;)
