Cabled neck warmer with button placket

Knitting Ability: Intermediate/Experienced

Skills required:
You will need to be able to do a variety of cables and simple textured stitches and also be able to work a button hole.

You will need:
One pair each 4.5mm (US 7) and 5.5mm (US 9) straight needles
A cable needle
3 x 2 ½ (1in) buttons
Tapestry needle for sewing up
Yarn approx. 410m/445y of Aran weight Merino wool

Materials:
I used 100% Italian Merino Wool in Aran weight from Baruffa in Dormouse 306 (Machine Washable), approx.
6 x 50g balls (68m/74y per 50g)

You could use any Aran weight yarn but be careful to match our tension and check the yardage on your substitute yarn to ensure the correct end measurements.
