The Glenrose Mitts are a simple textured mitt, knit from the bottom up using a simple four row repeat. Starting with simple 1x1 ribbing for the cuff, you work through the body with a 4 row repeat on one side, and straight stockinette on the other (palm).

Fit: Teen / Womens ~ 8” palm circumference, length can be adjusted in pattern by adding or subtracting repeats.

Materials:
- about 200 yards of sport weight yarn
Sample knit in Autumn and Indigo Classic Sport in Dusk

  • US3 / 3.25 32-40” circular needle for working in the round
  • Darning Needle
  • Stitch Markers
  • Scissors
  • Scrap yarn for holding stitches

Gauge: 14 sts x 19 rows = 2” in stockinette stitch
