Glitter Girl Tie
Patternemphasized text Description:
Elevate your accessory game with the Glitter Girl Tie! The garter stitch tie is framed with an I-Cord edging giving it a polished look! A narrow design that adds flair to anything you might be wearing. The sparkle of Lana Grossa Glamour and the softness of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair is delightfully addictive to knit. Embrace your creativity by creating your own personal color combinations of mohair and sequins – so fun! For those with mohair allergies try using Plymouth Yarn Suri Stratus instead – it is lighter than air, warm as a hug and an incredibly soft alpaca.
Try a summery version of the GG Tie in Juniper Moon Farm’s festive organic cotton glitter yarn, Marilyn. Looks so cute tied in a bow!
Feel accomplished by learning to use an I-cord cast on, I-cord at the beginning of every row, and an I-cord bind off. This fantastic glittery tie is knit on size 4 double-pointed needles – easier for working on this small number of stitches. Ties are not just for the guys – try out the whimsy of this contemporary look.
