Jakken strikkes ovenfra og ned i glattstrikk. Hele jakken strikkes frem og tilbake, mens ermene strikkes rundt. Det økes både på rett-s og vrang-s, i alt 4 økninger per omg, rundt de 6 skuldermaskene. Samtidig skal det skal økes på forstykkene for å oppnå en fin omslagsjakke. Det økes også til pufferm. Det benyttes raglan som økninger til erm på for -og bakstykket. Om en ønsker strikkes det en volange og jakken avsluttes med i-cord kant rundt ermene og nederst på jakken. Det strikkes to i-cord snorer for å knytte jakken sammen.

   The jacket is worked top-down in stockinette stitch. You work the body flat, and the sleeves are worked in rounds. There is increases on both RS and WS, a total of 4 inc per row, on both sides of the 6 shoulder sts. At the same time you’ll increase on the front pieces of the jacket to achieve a nice wrap-around. The sleeves are made by raglan-inc, as well as inc to get puff sleeves. If you want, you can work a flounce, and the jacket ends with an i-cord edge around sleeves and at the bottom of the jacket. Two i-cords are made to tie the jacket together.
