Start in the middle and the square grows slowly by each row. Four triangle worked together and increased 2 sts in every triangle =8 sts each round. Sewed together and finally I-cord knitted to frame in the blanket.

I had lot of leftover yarn in a basket and when I looked over it I thought about how to use all those similar colours, so I started to draw up pattern. Most of the colours in the basket are from my gift kits and from Glóð Hatt & Mittens, so I picked up the idea from that pattern and adjusted to a triangle. Lot of fun knitting and you can choose the size of the blanket, and also the yarn you want to use. If you use other yarn I would measure the first square and calculate from that how many and how much yarn you need. Each square was around 30 gr. some yarn to sew together and at last yarn for the I-cord. It was lot of fun knitting this and lot of education for me to figure out all those small details that needed to fit together.
