This pattern is available from chuffed.org for AU$25.00.

The cost of the pattern for this gorgeous colourful scarf reflects its purpose as a fundraiser. The design is based on scientific data collected by Berkeley Earth and accurately illustrates the rise in global temperatures over the last 100+ years.

It was designed by Dr Joanna Sumner to raise funds for her participation in the international Homeward Bound leadership initiative for women in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Medicine).

The pattern offers the choice of using three, five or seven colours, each design being carefully calculated to maintain the accuracy of the stripes. Any 10 ply yarn can be easily substituted, with care to the colour sequence, and either stocking stitch or a textured stitch can be used.
