If you live in a climate susceptible to freezing weather, sometimes you don’t need mittens, or fingerless gloves. Sometimes the only part of your hand that is cold are your fingers.

Introducing …

Gloveless Fingers!

After much prodding by my family, I knit up these little finger sweaters in honor of the holiday beloved by pranksters everywhere -- April Fools Day. Designed to use up those tiny balls of sock yarn lying in wait in that already-too-voluminous stash of yours, and knit at a gauge of 9 stitches to the inch, each finger takes up about two grams of yarn and thirty minutes of your time.

They’re great for TV knitting (like when we were watching the Battle of the Five Armies last night and I was resisting the urge to chew my fingernails off, even on the second time around) because it’s just knitting plain around and around in circles.
