Glow — a hand-knitted vest pattern by Aimée Gille
Glow is a joyful celebration of texture, color, and playful detail. This long, versatile sweater vest is designed to be worn open, and it features a whimsical single pocket—just enough to spark curiosity.
Knit by marling two signature yarns from La Bien Aimée—Corrie Worsted and Alix—Glow creates a unique, softly heathered fabric with incredible depth and drape. The result is both cozy and luminous, living up to its name.
Clean, sharp finishes like a double knit collar and armholes give structure and polish to this otherwise relaxed piece. Glow is that perfect blend of comfort and intention—ideal for layering, styling, and making your own.
HOW TO WEAR GLOW
Glow was designed with layering in mind— a relaxed, easy piece to slip over your outfit when the air turns crisp. Whether you’re wrapping it over a colorful dress or pairing it with your favorite band tee, it adds just the right amount of warmth and intention to any look. Think of it as the finishing touch that frames what you’re already wearing, bringing texture, color, and a bit of joyful whimsy.
This vest is meant to be worn open. If you’d like to button your Glow and wear it closed, I recommend selecting a size with 15 to 20 cm of positive ease for comfort and movement.
