Gnome Bonnet
We’ve had lots of requests for patterns of our favorite knit hats! Here is the pattern to our popular hand knit Gnome Bonnet.
Try your hand at making one yourself with your favorite yarn. This is a classic pixie shape with an attached I-chord. Simply stitched in garter stitch and on straight needles, this makes for the perfect beginner’s project!

Sizes
0-6 (6-12, 12-24) Months + 2-4 Years
Materials
Yarn… 1 100 g skein of 100% merino wool medium weight or worsted yarn
Needles… US Size 4 straight needles, US Size 6 straight needles, US Size 4 DPNS
Notions… Yarn for attaching the I-chord. Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge
22 sts and 28 rows make 4” in pattern.
