You’ll have such a great time tucking these gnomes into the little nooks and crannies of your house: nestled in a bookshelf, peeking out from behind an open door, hiding in amongst the holiday decorations - they make a wonderful and unexpected gift for a host too! Quick to make, even with all those little details, you will find yourself wanting to make more of these than you had planned - they are just so much fun!

Finished Measurements
Finished gnome measures approximately 8-9” 20.5-23 cm tall (including hat). Size depends upon the thickness of the yarn.

Materials
• Worsted weight yarn (CYCA#4), preferably a wool, or acrylic (or a blend of these fibers) in the following amounts: 55 yds 50 m for body and arms (A), 40 yds 37 m for hat and mittens (B), 25 yds 23 m for beard (C), 6 yds 5.5 m for edgings and embroidery (D)
• US F/5 3.75 mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain a firm fabric that will not let the stuffing show through
• Yarn Needle
• Removeable stitch markers
• Piece of cardboard that measures about 3.5” 9 cmut yarn for beard)
• Approximately 15 glass gems, used to weight the bottom of the gnome. Alternatively, you can use rocks.
• Fiberfill or desired stuffing material
• 1 wooden bead for nose, I used Hildie and Jo brand 3/8” 1 cm diameter wood beads purchased at JOANN. I opted for the pre-strung beads because they had a smaller hole.
• Sewing thread and needle for attaching bead to gnome
