Stand with each other, don’t let history repeat itself.

History:
In the 1940’s Norway was invaded by the Nazi’s. The Norwegians walked around in red hats in silent protest of the invasion. Even children wore them. That was, until a ban was placed on not only wearing the red hats, but even on items containing the red hats such as cards with characters wearing the red hats. Picture Santa Claus or gnomes unable to be represented with a red hat.
The Norwegian people got crafty instead and began wearing paperclips on their garments to show their patriotism. The paper clip was a symbol of binding the people together as one.
