This gnome is just casually hanging out on his toadstool. A great addition to your children’s toys or your seasonal decorations!

You’ll need
Stylecraft Special DK:
50 gram dark green
100 gram white
50 gram red
50 gram gray
50 gram light green
50 gram skin color
scraps of black, yellow and pink
Stuffing
Crochet hook 3 and 4 mm
Scissors
Needle
Stitch markers

Abbreviations ( US terms)
ch = chain
ss = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
trc= triple crochet
Loop stitch = Put your crochet hook in the indicated stitch. Go behind the two strings and pull both strings through the stitch (leaving a loop on the back side of your work). Increase= 2 sc or loop stitches in the same stitch.
Decrease = Put your hook in the indicated stitch, yarn over and pull through stitch. Put your hook in the next stitch, yarn over and pull through stitch. Yarn over and pull through 3 loops on your hook.
Bpsc = back post single crochet
