Crochet level: intermediate and above.
While in all of my patterns, I explain in great detail how to make the specific toy featured in the pattern, my patterns are intended for crafters who already have at least basic experience in crocheting stuffed toys.

For Mini Amigurumis, experience in working with small size steel crochet hooks is a required prerequisite.
You can train by making your first toy in a thicker yarn weight (DK/SPORT) with a hook of the appropriate larger size
(it should go without saying that such a toy will turn out larger, and you will need more stuffing), then gradually progressing to smaller and smaller toys, always using thinner yarn and a matching smaller hook.

To create a medium-sized toy, you can use any suitable yarn of the DK or Sport category.
A gnome from the DK yarn will turn out to be about 8 inches in size.

                     **Materials:**
  • Yarn: thread yarn matching the color. Choose the main color of the thread (for the body, arms) - you will need a little more than one skein of mouline; color for the hat and shoes - within one skein of mouline; brown color for the sole, legs and belt - mouline. Beige thread - within one skein of mouline. And some white for the legs, some yellow thread for the legs.
  • Yarn for beard: choose any textured yarn (boucle, long-pile yarn and so on)
  • 0.7 mm metal crochet hook
  • the metal (or glass) granulated (d 1.8 mm)
  • stuffing (hollow fiber or synthetic down 100% polyester)
  • a thin needle for embroidery eyes
  • a long needle (for embroidery hair)
  • slim but durable cardboard for the sole and glue
  • sharp nail scissors
  • metal thimble on your finger (the thimble is used for embroidery of eyes and for sewing)
