Gnomes
Gnomes are small creatures from old stories, traditionally depicted as little men wearing pointed hats.
My knitted Gnome is approximately 24 cm tall, including the hat, with a body measuring about 10 cm. With its pointed hat and long beard, it has a cozy winter feeling and makes a lovely addition to Christmas decorations.
You don’t have to make the arms, depending on your preference. You can also use different colors for the hat or add small accessories to create your own unique Gnome.
If you use finer yarn and smaller needles, you can make a smaller Gnome that would make a lovely Christmas tree ornament.
- This pattern uses both flat knitting and knitting in the round.
- There are not many knitting techniques used in this pattern, and the assembly is simple, making it easier and simpler than some of my other knitted toys.
- Video tutorials are included to help with the knitting and assembly.
