This is a fun, easy gnome pattern that can be customized to suit your graduate. Any yarn can be used, and I prefer using up leftovers from other projects. The finished gnome is about 6 inches tall but size varies based on yarn and hook choice. You can also adjust the pattern to make your gnome taller by adding more of the repeat SC rounds in the body and gown. Additional supplies help the structure like cutout cardboard inserts, or upcycling of household items like bottle tops. Once you make one, you will probably have requests for more.
