Go big or go home! Bulky yarn and large needles come together to create a fabulously oversized, two-color cowl! The simple seed stitches on one side combined with the chunky cables on the other takes this cowl to the next level of COZY. It’s a quick project that you can knit in just a few hours, making it perfect for gifting (or keeping)! Of course you can knit this in just one color if you have the yardage, or two if you feel like stash busting.

Needles: US 17 (12 mm or 12.75 mm) straight or circular needles. I used circulars because they are lightweight and more comfortable with bulky yarn.

Approximate yardage: 150 yards of bulky #6 yarn. 50 yards per color. Prototype uses Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick, Oatmeal and Fisherman.

Alternates include: Malabrigo Rasta, Cascade Magnum, or similar yarn that comes close to gauge.
