This all-purpose jacket is finished with front bands that are knitted
along with the rest of the body, making finishing a snap. The front bands do overlap so buttons or snaps may be added if desired. The bands are knitted in long stitch which has the effect of preventing the front edges from stretching out of shape and provides a very sleek, tailored look. This is called the “Go Everywhere” jacket because it really can. It looks nice as part of a dressy suit but is simple enough to substitute for a cardigan.2 beds are needed for this design. A Japanese standard gauge with ribber or a Passap will work. The yarn is a composite of 2 strands of Krinklespun, plus 1 strand 2/17 acrylic, run together through a single feeder and treated as one yarn. All are available from Stephanie’s Studio.
