From Fiona Ellis Pattern Description: I selected elements that had a yielding rather than a dogmatic, set-in-stone quality. The lace pattern produces a waved edging rather than a hard, blunt, cast-on edge, while the soft, undulating cables flow out and back from the stockinette-stitch side panels. Then, in the center of the panel, the cables intertwine as though acknowledging their neighbors, willing to embrace a new element. As the pattern reaches the neckline, it flows gently around its curve.*
