About this Project

This project consists of three motif patterns. The “Gebo’s Gate”, the “Goddess Moon” and the “Sun Cross”. Gebo’s Gate and the Goddess Moon motifs have 41 stitches plus 2 border stitches. The Sun Cross motif has 42 stitches plus 2 border stitches, which means you will need to increase by 1 stitch, for each repeat, when you begin this motif and then decrease by 1 stitch, for each repeat as you move back to other motifs. For example, if you are crocheting the motif by 2, you would increase and decrease by 2 stitches. Pay close attention to the directions for the Sun Cross, as there are additional notes on this motif. Do not worry, you don’t have to remember this now, it is clearly stated in the pattern.

The yarn I used for this project is by Red Hart. Of course, you can use any yarn and colors that best suits you. Keep in mind that your project may be bigger or smaller, depending on the yarn, the size hook you use and your own unique way you crochet. All told, the cost for the materials and tools I used for this project is minimal and you will have plenty of left-over yarn.
