This shawl is knitted from the pointed end to the straight upper side. It begins with a provisional cast-on to create a continuous i-cord edge. The first part is worked in garter stitch stripes, using C1 and C2. The rest of the shawl is knitted in C3, with garter stitch on the left side and a lace pattern on the right side.
