ERRATA: A small correction on Chart A…
Row one: stitch #9 and #32 should be white.
The first time through, it doesn’t matter but does when chart A is repeated it needs to match chart B. (Thanks for the great catch, cpainter!)

It’s time for the winter Olympic games again, and along with them, the exciting Ravellinic games on Ravelry. The Colorworks by Debi group is sponsoring a team again. In 2018, we are the CBD Tie for the Gold team, and I have created three exciting new patterns to help you rack up points and take a medal or two! Gold Diamond Swirl Necktie is the first of three, stranded, wool and silk neckties I designed for this event. I used gold silk in all three patterns but, as always, you the knitter can choose your own fiber. These are great-looking neckties, and once blocked, they have a gorgeous, silky sheen. The stitches are fine, and people find it hard to believe the tie is hand-knit! Give this one a go, and then work up the others. The patterns work up fast, so you’ll have time to make more than one. Go for the gold, knitters. Or at least have a blast as you “Tie for the Gold!”!
