Golden Fields Lace
Golden Fields Lace is inspired by the golden hills in my home of Northern California.
Three shapes in four sizes each: stole, cowl, and square “hap” shawl (or throw).
Shown in Stole, size 2
The Stole is a beautiful directional shape which is worn with the motifs laying horizontally.
Cowl is knit in-the-round with-or-without borders, just the wild oats pattern all by itself, with the motifs positioned vertically.
Square Shawl is like the stole, but has extra width and less length proportionally. It can be made into a throw very easily by using heavier yarn weights.
Stole: Approx.14 (17, 20, 23)” 36 ( 43, 51, 58) cm wide
and 56 (68, 80, 92)” 142 (173, 203, 233)cm long.
Cowl: Approx. 27 ( 30, 33, 36)” 69 (77, 85, 92) cm circ.
and 14” 36cm wide.
Square Shawl: Approx. 29 ( 32, 35, 38) “ square
Yardage (Yardage is only approximate)
- Stole: 590 (880, 1300, 1750) y 540 (805, 1189, 1600) m
- Cowl: 410 (454, 500, 550) y 375 (415, 457, 503) m

I invite Any & All who are knitting Golden Fields to bring questions, comments, great tutorial links, and otherwise general related chattiness to my Jenjoyce Group which exists just for knitters of Jenjoyce’s patterns. The kettle is on… see you there !
